Milwaukee City is a city in the Milwaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties, Wisconsin, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Milwaukee City is home to 596974 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 604477, It is most populous in Wisconsin. Its area is just over 96.91 mi˛ (251 square kilometre), of which, 96.06 square miles (248.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the largest by total area among Wisconsin.
