Milton Town is one of the town of Sussex County, Delaware, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Milton Town is home to 1657 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1835, It is 31st most populous in Delaware. It covers total area of 1.16 sq mi (3 kmē), of which, 1.06 square miles (2.75 kmē) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 kmē) of it is water, it is the 38th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Delaware.
