Milltown Borough is a one of the Middlesex County, New Jersey, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 7000 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 6965, It is the 235th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough has a total area of 1.6 sq mi (4.14 sq km), of which, 1.57 square miles (4.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 168th smallest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7000 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The racial makeup of the borough was 93.86% White, 0.76% Black or African American, 0.16% American Indian, 3.07% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 1% from two or more races and 1.16% Other races.
