Millsboro Town is a town located in Sussex County, Delaware, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 2360 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2698, making it Delaware's 27th largest. The town encompasses an area of 1.94 square miles (5.02 square kilometre ), of which, 1.73 square miles (4.48 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 25th largest by area in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is ranks sixth in the size of its inland waterways in Delaware.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 2360 people, 1045 households, and 620 families living in the town. The population density was 1367.9 people per square mile (528.15/kmē), making it the 32nd most densely populated town in Delaware. There were 1153 housing units at an average density of 666.5 per square mile (257.34/kmē). The average household size was 2.13 people, and the average family size was 2.77 people. Age range in the town was well distributed with 21.4% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 21.5% from 45 to 64, and 26.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 71.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 68.9 males. The median age is 43.1 years, The median age of males was 40.4 years, for females the median age was 45.5 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the town was 1738 White, 458 Black or African American, 18 American Indian, 78 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 30 from two or more races and 38 Ohter races.
