Millport Town is one of the town of Lamar County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 1160 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1014, making it the 265th most populous in Alabama. It covers total area of 5.44 mi˛ (14.09 square kilometre), of which, 5.43 square miles (14.06 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 231st largest by size in Alabama.
