Millington City is a one of the Shelby County, Tennessee, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 10433 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 10165, making it Tennessee's 49th largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 15.59 mi˛ (40.38 square kilometre ), of which, 15.57 square miles (40.33 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 43rd largest by total area in Tennessee.
