Mill Valley City is a city located in the Marin County, California, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 13600 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 13268, It is California's 372nd largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 4.83 sq mi (12.51 kmē ), of which, 4.72 square miles (12.22 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 551st largest by total area in California.
