Milford City, Delaware is a city of the Kent and Sussex counties, Delaware, United States. As of 2000 the population was 6732. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 8511, It is the 13th largest by population in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is spread over 5.62 sq mi (14.56 kmē), of which, 5.56 square miles (14.4 kmē ) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, making it Delaware's 11th largest by total area. It is ranks 15 in the size of its inland waterways in Delaware.
