It is the 19th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Its area is just over 5.74 mi˛ (14.87 sq km), of which, 5.72 square miles (14.81 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 20th largest in terms of geographical size.
