Milford Borough, Hunterdon County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1195. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1186, making it New Jersey's 42nd smallest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.22 mi˛ (3.16 square kilometre), of which, 1.15 square miles (2.98 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 112th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1195 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 1037.7 people per square mile (400.66/km˛), it would be the 79th least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of New Jersey. There were 484 housing units at an average density of 420.9 per square mile (162.51/km˛). The average household size was 2.55 people, and the average family size was 3.11 people. In the borough the population is diverse age-wise, with 25.4% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 33.3% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.3 males. The median age is 38.7 years, The median age of males was 37.1 years, for females the median age was 40.3 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 97.57% White, 0.17% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 0.42% Asian, 0.33% Native Hawaiian, 1.26% from two or more races and 0.08% Other races.
