Milan City is a one of the Gibson County, Tennessee, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 7664 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 7934, making it Tennessee's 66th largest. The city encompasses an area of 8.05 sq mi (20.85 kmē), it is the 114th largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7664 people in the city, organized into 5369 households, and 3232 families living in the city. The population density was 952.2 people per square mile (367.65/kmē), giving it the 80th most densely populated city among the Tennessee.
