Mifflin County, Pennsylvania is a county of the United States of Pennsylvania. In 2000, the population was 46486. Its population was estimated at 46062 in July 2008, giving it the 22nd smallest population among Pennsylvania's county. The county encompasses an area of 414.6 sq mi (1073.81 square kilometre ), of which, 411.86 square miles (1066.71 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.75 square miles (7.12 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Pennsylvania's 14th smallest county by total area.

According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 46062, The racial makeup of the county was 98.27% White, 0.75% Black or African American, 0.11% American Indian, 0.32% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.55% from two or more races.
