Midland City is one of the city of Midland and Bay counties, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 41685 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 40917, It is 36th most populous in Michigan. It covers total area of 34.95 mi˛ (90.52 square kilometre), of which, 33.22 square miles (86.04 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.73 square miles (4.48 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 13th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
