Miami County, Indiana is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the county was 36082 as per the 2000 census data. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 36219, making it the 44th most populous county in Indiana. The county spans an area of 377.36 sq mi (977.36 kmē), of which, 375.62 square miles (972.85 kmē) of it is land and 1.74 square miles (4.51 kmē) of it is water, it is the 61st largest in terms of geographical size.
