Merrill City is one of the city of Lincoln County, Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 10146 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 9670, It is Wisconsin's 75th largest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.53 square miles (19.5 square kilometre), of which, 7.04 square miles (18.23 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.49 square miles (1.27 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 77th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
