Mercer Borough is a borough located in the Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. In 2000, borough's population was 2391 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 2207, It is the 551st largest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 1.24 mi˛ (3.21 sq km), it is the 617th largest in terms of geographical size.

The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 96.45% White, 2.17% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 0.21% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, 0.79% from two or more races and 0.17% Other races.
