Menominee County is a county in the United States of Wisconsin. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 4562 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 4571, making it the least populous county in Wisconsin. The county has a total area of 364.99 sq mi (945.32 kmē), of which, 357.96 square miles (927.11 kmē) of it is land and 7.03 square miles (18.21 kmē) of it is water, giving it the second smallest by total area among Wisconsin's county.

In the county Age distribution was 38.9% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 8.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 102.8 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 108.4 females. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 4571, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 14.81% White, 1.86% Black or African American, 81.01% American Indian, 0.42% Asian, 0.09% Native Hawaiian, and 1.82% from two or more races.
