Menasha City is a city located in the Winnebago and Calumet counties, Wisconsin, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 16331 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 16627 in July 2008, It is the 41st most populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is spread over 6.67 sq mi (17.28 sq km), of which, 5.26 square miles (13.62 sq km ) of it is land and 1.42 square miles (3.68 sq km) of it is water, making it Wisconsin's 89th largest by total area.

The population density was 3106.9 people per square mile (1199.58/kmē), it is the 18th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. There were 7271 housing units at an average density of 1382.3 per square mile (533.71/kmē). The average household size was 2.35 people, and the average family size was 2.99 people. In the city Age distribution was 25.6% under the age of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 33.6% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.4 males. The median age of the city's population was 34 years, The median age of males and females living in Menasha City was 33 and 35 years respectively. The racial makeup of the city was 94.8% White, 0.54% Black or African American, 0.61% American Indian, 1.62% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, 1.04% from two or more races and 1.38% Other races.
