Menahga City is one of the city of Wadena County, Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1220 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1196, making it Minnesota's 305th largest. It is spread over 3.92 sq mi (10.15 kmē), of which, 3.72 square miles (9.63 kmē ) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 196th largest by total area among Minnesota.

The population density was 328.3 people per square mile (126.76/kmē), it is the 267th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
