Melbourne City, Izard County, Arkansas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Melbourne City had an official population of 1673 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1685, making it the 153rd most populous in Arkansas. It covers total area of 6.24 square miles (16.16 kmē), makes it the 87th largest by total area in Arkansas.
