Meigs City is a one of the Thomas and Mitchell counties, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 1090 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1077, It is Georgia's 327th largest by population . It has total area of 1.61 square miles (4.17 square kilometre), of which, 1.59 square miles (4.12 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 179th smallest by total area among Georgia.
