According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Medina City is home to 3011 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3144, It is the 225th largest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. It is spread over 4.79 miē (12.41 kmē), of which, 1.43 square miles (3.7 kmē ) of it is land and 3.35 square miles (8.68 kmē) of it is water, making it Washington's 196th largest by total area. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Washington.
