Medford City is a United States city located in the Jackson County, Oregon, United States. In 2000, the population was 63154. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 73212, It is the seventh largest by population in the U.S. state of Oregon. The city extends throughout a territory of 21.7 mi˛ (56.2 square kilometre ), making it Oregon's ninth largest by total area.

The population density was 2910.5 people per square mile (1123.75/km˛), it is the 61st most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Oregon.
