Medford City is a city located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 55765 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 55573, It is the 20th largest in terms of population. It has total area of 8.64 sq mi (22.38 sq km), of which, 8.14 square miles (21.08 sq km) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 sq km) of it is water, making it the 66th largest by size in Massachusetts.
