Mcpherson County, Nebraska is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 533 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 514, making it Nebraska's third smallest county. Its area is just over 860.02 square miles (2227.44 square kilometre), of which, 858.98 square miles (2224.75 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.04 square miles (2.69 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 23rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
