Mclean County is a one of the county from North Dakota's 53 counties, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 9311. Its population was estimated at 8337 in July 2008, It is the 14th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 2328.17 miē (6029.93 kmē), of which, 2109.95 square miles (5464.75 kmē) of it is land and 218.21 square miles (565.16 kmē) of it is water, it is the second largest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota. It is ranks first in the size of its inland waterways in North Dakota.
