Mcdonald Town is a one of the Robeson County, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 119 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 106, It is 28th least populous in North Carolina. The town encompasses an area of 0.26 sq mi (0.67 sq km), makes it the 11th smallest by total area in North Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 119 residents, 40 households, and 37 families in the town. The population density was 455.6 people per square mile (175.91/kmē), it is the 202nd least densely populated town in the U.S. state of North Carolina. There were 41 housing units at an average density of 157.7 per square mile (60.89/kmē). The average household size was 2.98 and the average family size was 3.08.
