Mcadenville Town, Gaston County, North Carolina is a town located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 619 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 664, It is the 184th least populous in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is spread over 1.47 mi˛ (3.81 square kilometre), of which, 1.38 square miles (3.57 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 211th smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

As of the census of 2000, there were 619 people in the town, organized into 247 households, and 182 families residing in the town. The population density was 450.1 people per square mile (173.78/km˛), it is the 198th least densely populated town in the U.S. state of North Carolina. There were 282 housing units at an average density of 204.3 per square mile (78.88/km˛). The average household size was 2.51 people, and the average family size was 2.96 people. In the town the population was distributed as follows: 24.1% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 29.1% from 45 to 64, and 14.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 91.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.8 males.
