Mayville City is one of the city of Traill County, North Dakota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 1953 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1769, It is 26th most populous in North Dakota. The city has a total area of 1.61 square miles (4.17 square kilometre), making it the 48th largest by size in North Dakota.
