Maysville City is a United States city located in the Mason County, Kentucky, United States. The population of the city was 8993 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 9246, It is 50th most populous in Kentucky. The city spans an area of 22.25 square miles (57.63 sq km), of which, 19.91 square miles (51.57 sq km) of it is land and 2.34 square miles (6.06 sq km) of it is water, it is the sixth largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Kentucky.
