Mayo Town is one of the town of Lafayette County, Florida, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 988 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1028, It is Florida's 155th smallest by population . The town comprises an area of 0.82 mi˛ (2.12 square kilometre), making it Florida's 128th smallest by total area.
