Maumelle City is one of the city of Pulaski County, Arkansas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 10557 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 16201, It is the 33rd most populous in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The city spans an area of 9.27 square miles (24.01 square kilometre), of which, 8.8 square miles (22.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.47 square miles (1.22 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 51st largest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Arkansas.
