Maumee City is a city located in Lucas County, Ohio, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. Maumee City had an official population of 15237 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13856, It is the 114th most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city encompasses an area of 10.54 sq mi (27.3 sq km ), of which, 9.94 square miles (25.74 sq km) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.55 sq km) of it is water, it is the 87th largest in terms of geographical size.
