Mattoon Village is a city located in Shawano County, Wisconsin, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 466 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 424, It is the 127th least populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It covers total area of 1.63 sq mi (4.22 kmē), makes it the 356th largest by total area in Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 466 residents, 76 households, and 48 families in the city. The population density was 285.3 people per square mile (110.15/kmē), making its Wisconsin's 88th least densely populated city.
