Masontown Town is a town located in Preston County, West Virginia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 647. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 653, It is 90th least populous in West Virginia. The town comprises an area of 0.28 mi˛ (0.73 sq km), making it the 19th smallest by size in West Virginia.
