Marysville City, St. Clair County, Michigan is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 9684 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 9943, It is the 119th largest by population in the U.S. state of Michigan. The city comprises an area of 7.94 sq mi (20.56 kmē), of which, 6.94 square miles (17.97 kmē) of it is land and 1 square miles (2.59 kmē) of it is water, it is the 84th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 9684 people, 4025 households, and 2741 families living in the city. The population density was 1395.6 people per square mile (538.84/kmē), giving it the 242nd most densely populated city among the Michigan. There were 4180 housing units at an average density of 602.3 per square mile (232.55/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.4 persons, and the average family size was 2.96 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 24.4% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 28.4% from 25 to 44, 23.3% from 45 to 64, and 17.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.2 males. The racial makeup of the city was 9508 White, 17 Black or African American, 29 American Indian, 42 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 55 from two or more races and 32 Ohter races.
