Marshall County is a United States county located in the United States of Tennessee. As of 2000 the population was 26767. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 29731, making it the 49th most populous county in Tennessee. The county encompasses an area of 376.1 square miles (974.09 kmē ), of which, 375.36 square miles (972.18 kmē) of it is land and 0.75 square miles (1.94 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 62nd largest by total area among Tennessee's county.
