Markle Town is a one of the Huntington and Wells counties, Indiana, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1102 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1087, It is the 314th most populous in the U.S. state of Indiana. The town has a total area of 1.02 mi˛ (2.64 square kilometre), of which, 0.99 square miles (2.56 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 280th largest by total area among Indiana.
