Marion City, Kentucky is a city of the Crittenden County, Kentucky, United States. In 2000, the population was 3196. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3102, making it Kentucky's 118th largest. It is spread over 3.3 square miles (8.55 sq km), of which, 3.29 square miles (8.52 sq km ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 132nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.

The population density was 971.7 people per square mile (375.18/kmē), giving it the 266th most densely populated city among the Kentucky.
