Marion City is a city in the Crittenden County, Arkansas, United States. The city has a population of 8901 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 12217, making it the 39th most populous in Arkansas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.42 mi˛ (34.76 square kilometre), it is the 35th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8901 people, 3254 households, and 2510 families residing in the city. The population density was 663.3 people per square mile (256.1/km˛), giving it the 198th most densely populated city among the Arkansas.
