Margaret Town is a town located in the St. Clair County, Alabama, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1169 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1307, It is Alabama's 264th largest by population . The town extends throughout a territory of 9.31 sq mi (24.11 sq km ), of which, 9.29 square miles (24.06 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 143rd largest by total area among Alabama.
