Marcus City is a United States city located in the Cherokee County, Iowa, United States. The city has a population of 1139 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1037, It is the 248th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. It has total area of 1.73 mi˛ (4.48 sq km), makes it the 220th largest by total area in Iowa.
