Maplewood City is a city located in St. Louis County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 9228 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 8626, giving it the 78th largest population among Missouri. The city has a total area of 1.55 sq mi (4.01 kmē), it is the 305th largest in terms of geographical size.
