Maplewood City is a city in the Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. In 2000, city's population was 34947 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 36087, making it Minnesota's 21st largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 17.99 sq mi (46.59 kmē), of which, 17.32 square miles (44.86 kmē) of it is land and 0.67 square miles (1.74 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 67th largest by total area among Minnesota.
