Mapleton City is a city located in Utah County, Utah, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 5809. In July 2008, its estimated population was 7954, It is the 69th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 9.23 square miles (23.91 sq km), making it Utah's 73rd largest by total area.
