Mapleton Borough is a United States borough located in the Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 473 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 437, It is the 289th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It has total area of 0.24 sq mi (0.62 sq km), of which, 0.22 square miles (0.57 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 120th smallest by total area in Pennsylvania.
