Manteca City is one of the city of San Joaquin County, California, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. Manteca City had an official population of 49258 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 65028, making it the 156th most populous in California. The city extends throughout a territory of 15.91 square miles (41.21 kmē ), makes it the 207th largest by total area in California.
