The population of the borough was 291 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 277, It is 171st least populous in Pennsylvania. The borough comprises an area of 0.47 square miles (1.22 sq km), it is the 293rd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
