Mannington City is one of the city of Marion County, West Virginia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the city was 2124 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2079, making it the 74th most populous in West Virginia. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.16 square miles (3 square kilometre ), it is the 132nd largest by area in the U.S. state of West Virginia.
