Manhattan Beach City, Los Angeles County, California is a city located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. It is home to over 33852 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 36605, making it California's 217th largest. It covers total area of 10.36 mi˛ (26.83 square kilometre), of which, 3.93 square miles (10.18 square kilometre) of it is land and 6.43 square miles (16.65 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 317th largest in terms of geographical size.
